Having said this, my taste in clothes will more than reflect my personality type. And that is, someone who is practical.

For a long time now, denim jeans are my trademark at work. I like them because they are comfortable to wear and can be worn in any occasion. In my collection, you will find a mix of Lee jeans, Wrangler, Calvin Klein and Levi’s.

But most of what I have are Lee jeans. They are not expensive and the choice of styles and colors kind of appeal to my taste. In other words, I enjoy wearing them. But lately, I noticed, the ones I purchased seem to deteriorate in quality. They fade too fast and easily showed signs of wear and tear.

Somehow, I lost my interest in purchasing Lee jeans.

During my 30th birthday, I went in and out of shops to buy a new pair of jeans. I told myself, why not try Levi’s. It’s a classic brand which has always been known for good, authentic denims. I bought two pairs in my excitement and I never regretted having done so. It’s been over three years now and the jeans have retained their original stretch.

I go for shirts made of light materials as I find them comfortable and practical. They don’t really have to be expensive. In the same manner, I buy jeans designed for comfort and functionality.

When you do your normal shopping, many of what you see  are mostly for teenagers who go for those funky styles which are somewhat faded, then torn here and there. If you inspect them closely, the materials used are not so good and the type which will probably last for only a few months.

I’m no longer in my younger years and therefore not interested to wear jeans which teenagers go for nowadays. Durability and the type of fabric used when I make my purchase still matter a lot to me. The brand is Wrangler and that she bought a pair for me.  I put it on and it fitted right.

I used to wear Wrangler jeans before, but I noticed that the quality of the material they used is not the same as the old ones I have. It appears thinner and the type which easily tears with constant use. When I washed it, the wrinkles looked pretty bad and my wife had a hard time ironing the jeans. What a disappointment! Anyway, I told her not to make the mistake of buying one again in the future.

Guess what?  Today, I passed by a Levi’s jeans shop as I took time off from my business to look for a few items. Then I found this perfect pair of jeans. I’m the traditional type of person who normally buys the regularly cut ones. I was so attracted to its style that I found myself trying one with my size. Boy, I was so lucky, there were two left.  So I bought one for myself.

My wife told me I look slim in it. The jeans has a low rise which fit my hips well giving me that stylish and very masculine look (so my wife says;  who else but my greatest fan ever).  I’m a bit heavily-built and having this pair of jeans certainly boosts my morale. I would say it’s classic and I can use it for any occasion.

For a casual look, I can simply pair it with plain-colored simple shirts. If I want to attend an affair with a slightly formal touch, then I can probably match it up with any of my striped, long sleeved shirts.
